1. Vaults are required.
2. All stones are to be set in cement with a 6-inch border for easy mowing and protection of tombstones.

3. Twice a year the Cemetery Committee will clear and dispose of all non-attached items, such as vases, stands, flowers, flags and crosses. This will take place in early January and early July of each year. The items will be held at Trinity Church for two weeks after clearing. Please call Mrs. Gantt at (434) 249-0440 if you wish to retrieve your items.

4. Purchaser will not plant any trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials or bulbs on lots or in the scatter garden.

5. Before a stone is placed on a gravesite, please contact Mrs. Gantt at (434) 249-0440.

6. In the event of a funeral or memorial ceremony, the Rector, or in the Rector’s absence, the Senior Warden, must be notified in order to assure proper scheduling. The date and time of interment shall be subject to the approval of the Rector or Senior Warden.

7. Each gravesite may contain only one casket or two urns.

8. Each gravesite will have only one gravestone.

9. The four corners of each gravesite will be marked by cast iron cornerstones, to be paid for by the purchaser of the gravesite.

10. It is recognized that the legal title to none of the land embraced in the lots and scatter garden will pass to the purchaser and that title to the property will remain in the general ownership of the church, but that the lot owners are entitled to the use thereof for the limited purpose of the burial of the dead and the visitation of the graves.

11. In the event of a scattering, purchaser should request the funeral home to prepare the ashes for scattering rather than for interment.

12. Under no circumstances will unauthorized persons bring their own equipment into the cemetery. Only those authorized by Trinity Church, such as funeral home and landscaping personnel, are allowed to bring equipment into the cemetery.

13. Trinity Church is not obligated to buy back any gravesites it has sold.
