Trinity Episcopal Church – a dynamic and generous spiritually based community joyfully participating in the world.

Although our church building (dated to 1830) may be the oldest in Nelson County, our outlook is modern and welcoming. We gather for worship and fellowship every Sunday morning at 10 AM and follow the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer. Many of our activities are driven by young families and we welcome you and your entire family to join us.

Trinity Church is connected to the youth of our rural community through our sponsorship of an annual bicycle event (Bikeout) for young people in the nearby County Seat of Lovingston. In the Fall, we host our neighbors at a delightful Oyster Roast. And, in the summer, we coordinate with the major music festival, Lockn, that takes place adjacent to our churchyard, to bring festival goers to a swimming hole in the nearby Tye River. Funds raised in these activities go to support children in our region and in Haiti.

Ours is an open minded faith based on the Bible, tradition and reason. We welcome everyone to participate.
